Workplace Communication

Description

Build the confidence and communication skills you need to succeed in Australian workplaces. This practical course supports adult learners from diverse backgrounds who are preparing for work, starting a new role, or currently working or volunteering.

Through interactive discussions, roleplays, and digital activities, you’ll explore Australian workplace communication styles, language expectations, and cultural norms. You’ll practise writing workplace emails and messages, giving and receiving feedback, participating in meetings, and communicating clearly with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.

The course focuses on real-life workplace situations and helps you develop practical English skills, cultural awareness, and confidence using digital communication tools. By the end of the course, you’ll be better prepared to communicate professionally, respectfully, and effectively at work and in the community.

Learners must have an Intermediate to Post Intermediate level of English to participate in this course (suitable for EAL Levels 2 and above).
