Glen Eira Adult Learning Centre Inc. (GEALC) is an award-winning, community owned and managed, registered training centre and charity. Since 1986, this Learn Local organisation has been providing quality, affordable, accessible education for adults. The Centre offers a wide range of programs for people who want to improve their English language, literacy, and computer skills, and extend their involvement in activities in the workplace and the community. GEALC works actively with all levels of government and community organisations in order to provide educational opportunities to adults in the Glen Eira area.

Caulfield Adult Literacy Group opens its doors in August 1986 at Oak Tree House, Hawthorn Road, Caulfield
In December 1997, Centre moves to Maple St in South Caulfield with new name Glen Eira Adult Learning Centre
GEALC moves again to 419 North Road Ormond in June 2001
GEALC moves temporarily to 260 Booran Road Ormond in October 2017
GEALC moves next to McKinnon Train Station in late January 2024
