Digital Storytelling for EAL Learners

Description

For many EAL Learners, communicating an idea or story in English can be daunting. Digital storytelling allows students to convey an experience or an idea in a short timeframe and express themselves in ways they might not be able to. For example, a digital story can be 3-minutes long using a mixture of computer-based images, text, recorded audio, video clips, or music. Digital storytelling creates opportunities for sharing cultural experiences whilst developing language skills and digital technology techniques.
