Description

This pre-accredited course covers important concepts in writing. Students will learn key terminology, structures and styles within the writing sphere and will actively use what they learn in a variety of hands-on writing activities undertaken throughout each lesson.

This course will also improve participants’ confidence in their written communication skills overall – enabling them to interact more effectively in their everyday lives.

Topics include: Personal & Free Writing; Journalling; Narratives; Articles; Poetry; Letter Writing; Social Media & Blogging.

Learners must have an intermediate level of English to participate in this course (EAL Level 3).

Refund Policy

For fee paying students, a full refund will be given if the student cancels 5 working days prior to the course commencement date.  Otherwise an administration fee of $20 will be deducted.

No refund will be given once a course has commenced, unless the student can provide evidence (medical reasons, personal problems, personal loss).  In this case a refund will be calculated on a pro rata basis.

If a course is cancelled by GEALC, a full refund will be given.
