Description
This 45-hour (over 2 terms) pre-accredited program is for adult learners who need to develop literacy and numeracy skills to increase their chances of employment or further study within the community services sector.
The activities support learners to gain vocationally contextualised foundational skills through practical and applied learning activities. Each module provides opportunities for learners to participate in individual, small group or whole class activities, helping them to build confidence and develop their skills.

- Explore community services
- Organising daily tasks
- First point of contact
- Person-centred approach
- Looking after yourself
- Community events
- Care standards
- Working with others
- Using technology.
Learners must have a Pre-Intermediate level of English to participate in this course (suitable for EAL Levels 2 and 3).
